The exhibition “Elegance of Heian Literature” will be held at Seikado@Marunouchi. This exhibition will feature masterpieces of painting and calligraphy based on Heian literature, including three national treasures and five important cultural properties from the Seikado Bunko collection.
This is the first time that the museum has exhibited works by living artists. Two works from Akane Yamamoto's Tale of Genji series will be on display.
Please come and see how the treasures associated with “The Tale of Genji” and Yamamoto's contemporary works resonate with each other.

・“Hashihime ”, Chapter 45 of The Tale of Genji
